The love i have for her is endless

It hurts to leave, it causes restlessness

The nights at sea, thinking of my girl

Reminds of the life i chose in this world

To make a better life for her and for all.

I joined the navy and await for that call

The call to battle at war over seas

Against the worlds' feared enemies,

I'll fight to keep her safe from harm,

And ill raise that flag even with one arm

As long as i can hold my baby girl,

Nothing else matters to me in this world

Only two and probably doesn't understand

Why daddy leaves so long to make a stand

She doesn't know that i to cry at night

I long for her and my wife

To make a better place for her to grow

I refuse to throw it away "HELL NO"

So to her i dedicate this poem today

To tell her daddy will be back, "someday."
