A MOTHER'S TRIBUTE

My baby girl was so brave this day, She went through boot camp with nary to say.

I came to see her from very far away, She wasn't the same when I saw her that day.

Before when I knew her she was quite lost, but now she knows what her country costs.

She's ready and willing to pay the price and at such a young age - it seems so nice.

I stood in that hall with tears in my eyes, I remembered the day I was willing to try.

I want to protect her and make things safe, like those good ole days when she was a waif.

But now it's her turn to take care of me and for this I will be grateful forever and -- Free.

Thank You To All the Brave Soldiers Out There!
