DeckLog is a free interactive website designed to help Naval Veterans get in touch with each other.  The site is run by several Navy veterans and their families, who all served on the same submarine together.

Military Connections Find A Buddy

This site has a pretty good mix of veterans benefits, plus a search engine for Active Duty personnel, Reservists, and veterans.  You have to be a member of the site to use the Buddy Search, but membership is free.  Be sure to check out their Reunions section.
