When you're taking green water over the bow, sometimes the only thing that can save you is a good laugh.  Since there's nothing funnier than a Broadside cartoon, take a look at Jeff Bacon's new website.  This guy has been making me laugh for 20 years.  If you're a military-type, or the family of a military-type, chance are he'll make you laugh too.

National Archives

The National Archives and Records Administration is an independent Federal agency, dedicated to the preservation, maintenance, and publication of America's public records.  This is a good place to start for nearly any research project.  Pay special attention to the Archival Research Catalog (ARC), and the Digital Classroom.

The Goat Locker

Although this site is targeted toward Chief Petty Officers, it's about as good an all-around Navy website as you're going to find.  Good stuff!
